I've had an amazing couple of weeks.
I've been blessed with the opportunity
to speak in front of several groups of
business owners and talk about sales and
marketing strategies that I've used to
ignite, not just my business, but the
business of my clients as well.
I'll share some of those tips with you
in this week's article below. |

I've
also been cooking up some great ideas for how I
can continue to bring more expertise, wisdom and
tips to you this year. It seems people are
hungry for new knowledge, effective, low-cost
strategies and for support in implementing all
the great ideas they encounter. As I get
more of the ideas worked out, I'll be sharing
them with you. I'm really excited about the
prospect of working with you personally to help
you reach your dreams.

FEATURE
ARTICLE – THREE KEYS TO SALES SUCCESS |

If
you've heard me speak recently, you've heard me
talk about the three keys to having a successful
business: visibility, credibility and
connection. Without these three things,
you'll struggle to land new clients and starve
waiting for revenue to come in.
You've heard the expression, people do business
with people they know, like and trust. The
three keys I'm about to share with you will help
you get known, liked and trusted.

1. Visibility
People need to
know you exist. Visibility
strategies get you in front of a broad
audience. If you are invisible to
your target market, they'll never find
you when they need you.
Advertising is one way to gain
visibility, however it isn't always the
best strategy for all businesses.
Write articles and get them published in
print or online. Published
articles are one way you can reach a lot
of people with minimum effort.
2.
Credibility
Credibility
derives from being known as someone who
can be trusted. When you establish
yourself as an expert, your stature goes
up and people naturally respond
favorably to you. They hold you in
high regard. They listen to, value and
trust your opinions. They may do
what you suggest without question.
Again, article writing is helpful here
as is publicity and media exposure. |
3. Connection
Visibility and credibility
are critical, yet if you don't connect
personally with people, you are leaving money on
the table. You will dilute the impact of
all of your other strategies. You must
find a way to 'bond' in some way with your
target audience. This usually requires
meeting people face-to-face or at least
phone-to-phone. It also requires you taking the
time to get to know your prospect and them, you.
Trying to make a sale
without all of these special ingredients will be
an uphill battle. You'll be banging your
head against the wall, puzzled about why other
people are more successful and wondering what's
wrong with your approach.
